Desert Gardens Hotel is the only hotel at Ayers Rock Resort that offers rock view rooms with direct sightlines to Uluru. These rooms include a private balcony and air conditioning. The hotel also provides free guided walks through its native gardens.

Dining

The hotel has two on-site restaurants: Mangata Bar and Arnguli Grill. Mangata Bar serves cocktails poolside, while Arnguli Grill offers an a la carte menu of traditional Australian cuisine. Guests can also order breakfast in the room.

Eco-Certifications

Ayers Rock Resort, which operates Desert Gardens Hotel, holds Advanced Ecotourism and Respecting Our Culture certifications. This was the first ECO Certified business globally to achieve both certifications. The certifications recognize the resort's commitment to sustainability, including Indigenous employment and local enterprise.

Desert Gardens Hotel is located 1 mile from the Uluru Lookout and a 40-minute drive from Kata Tjuta. Complimentary return transfers from Ayers Rock Airport are provided for all guests on scheduled flights. A free resort shuttle bus connects guests to the town square and tour departure points.

Family

Children 15 years and under stay free when using existing bedding at Desert Gardens Hotel. The hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool open all year. Babysitting and child services are available upon request.
